Our donation storage room is busting at the seams. It's time to clear it out. Join us on May 16th 2026 from 10 am until 4 pm, for our first annual "Trash or Treasure ? Sale", and pick through the dozens of items up for grabs. Offer a simple donation to the Calvert Amateur Radio Association and take your new treasure home.
Free Parking
Parking is Free but very limited. We strongly suggest that you car pool. There is a Park and Ride parking lot, one (1) mile South of the community center. However CARA will NOT be providing transportation. You must arrange your own rides.

What's at the Sale?
All of the gear up for grabs has been donated to CARA by the estate's of silent keys. There is some old stuff, some new stuff, Regardless there is so much stuff, that it is impossible for us to test or repair everything. You may find a perfectly working treasure or something that needs to be repaired. Either way all of it is available, As Is, First Come First serve, to any interested party for a donation to CARA. Please note that all transactions are final, No exchanges, No warranty, No returns, No Refunds.

CARA stands for the Calvert Amateur Radio Association, a 501 3C not for profit organization located in Calvert County Maryland. CARA supports emergency communication through amateur radio. Currently supporting two Emergency Operation Center amateur radio positions and a county wide VHF UHF linked repeater system.
